Queen Ashley Foundation apologizes to Tonto Dikeh's husband and family over 'abandoned nanny' story

Coming after our report of how on what actually went down between Queen Ashley Foundation, Tonto Dikeh's 'abandoned nanny', Olakunle Churchill and family went viral, which led to subsequent confrontation of the Nanny by Tonto Dikeh, the foundation at the center of the media buzz, has written a public apology to Olankunle Churchill and his family.

According to the foundation, their recent act of charity was not intended to defame him, as his name was mentioned in the recorded video.

Here's the apology post;

"Sincere Apology
I truly want to apologise on behalf of my NGO, Queen Ashley Foundation for ‎dragging the name of Dr. Olakunle Churchill and family into this social media buzz. The gesture of my foundation to the woman was not deliberately intended to defame him as his name was mentioned in the recorded video.

.
The Foundation has been on tour to different hospitals in Abuja giving out supports to children ahead of our Children's day project aimed at Feeding 1000 kids. We regret the impression the media has about it and we assure our partners of our resolve to keep up with the objective of our NGO. .

Once again, we say sorry to Olakunle Churchill and family ‎for the twist in the intention, as we usually keep records and images of all our charity visits, donations and humanitarian projects for reference on the foundation gallery and activities.

Ashley Mariam Yusuf
CEO Queen Ashley Foundation‎"
